In reply to: maconmo #17 "People trying to escape genocide." Genocide? Um, sure. As they say, "hook, line, and sinker".
'Call them refugees'
Thu Jul 10, 2014
The Mexican drug cartels have simply added another profitable commodity (people) to their smuggling operations. Word on the street in these countries is that anyone who crosses the border can stay, and the cartels are moving as many as they can, for profit.
Safe haven keeps families together

Evidently, the laws of this nation apply to its citizens only. As for non-citizens, they are excused from following our laws on humanitarian grounds. Now that it is known throughout Central America that the odds of being deported are lower than ever, what is happening now is the predicta …

US to Ukraine leader: Crackdown on pro-West protesters 'absolutely impermissible'
Wed Dec 11, 2013
It's only fitting that our own government points a finger and dictates to them how to handle their internal matters, as history reveals our self-annointed government always knows what's best when it comes to foreign affairs.
Cuba won't budge on jailed American contractor, insists on prisoner swap
Wed Dec 4, 2013
"Gross...was arrested on Dec. 3, 2009, and accused of smuggling sophisticated satellite and other telecommunications equipment to Cuba..." What is it with these people who choose to do the dumbest things in countries where we have no diplomatic presence, and then hope that we can bail them out? I …
